Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is to builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Developing a trade marketing strategy aligned with the brand strategy while focusing on Distribution, Display, POS, Promotion and Price, and establish channel strategies along with execute associated

  1. Prepare trade promotional plan in specific channels with Key weighted customers.
  2. Head responsibility to manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments
  3. Supporting the implementation of the Trade Marketing
  4. Supporting the Sales Department to achieve their targets and initiatives by:
    • Maintaining a positive and active customer base to increase purchase orders (i.e. increase share trade shelf)
    • Reduce the OOS situation, and ensure all items availability
    • Ensuring implementation of the Perfect Store standards per channel; right representation (planograms), Perfect POS, Points of Sales, right product placement,
    • Co-ordinate with the sales team about the development of sales objectives, trade channel strategies and promotion programs and ensure their execution
  5. Tracking and Reporting of Key Performance Indicators relating to the Trade Marketing
  6. Increase success rate of promotions and brand
  7. Supplying data for internal reporting processes and take an action accordingly based on the analysis.
  8. Develop, supervise and improve procedures to link brand entire marketing activities with sales team
  9. Prepare annual account Sales / Trade marketing plan/ROI
  10. Analyze the opportunities regarding to channel development and promotion effectiveness.
  11. Actively seek, identify and analyze market trend, business opportunities and improvement ideas for sales.

 

Education /Experience Requirements

  1. BA / BS in Business or related field
  2. At least 5 years’ experience in FMCG (sales and trade marketing role)
  3. Computer Skiles
  4. Fluent in Arabic/English
  5. At least 5 years’ experience in FMCG (sales and trade marketing role)
  6. Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  7. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
  9. Have a full understanding of Sales & Trade Marketing needs
  10. Proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate with an attention to details
  11. Possess the ability to keep information confidential
  12. Tactical understanding of all primary Trade Marketing platforms
  13. Ability to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
  14. A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  15. Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
